ILLINOIS
1. Winnetka (Cook)
2. Kenilworth (Cook)
3. Glencoe (Cook)
4. North Barrington (Lake)
5. Lake Forest (Lake)

Winnetka and Glencoe definitely voted for Obama in 2008 while the other three voted for McCain.

If I had to guess, I would say that Winnetka voted for Romney somewhere in the 50s while LF, Kenilworth, and North Barrington remained on the R side.

It is fair to say that Glencoe voted solidly to re-elect Obama.

Why Glencoe is so liberal I don't really know. Initial inklings would say that it has a Jewish population (like Highland Park) but it isn't so - only 1.2% of the town is Jewish. If anyone knows more about Glencoe than me please tell.
