Exploratory Committee....

I am setting up an exploratory committee to see what the support may/is/or could be for a StatesRights/Jake ticket running on the conservative ticket for president. Any feedback is welcome and the idea sounds intriguing to me.

I would consider voting conservative Democrat but not GOP

I guess so.  Maybe I should switch parties and consider a run for Senate now.

I certainly will not resign my seat if I run for president. I will run for both offices like I did last time.

From a member of your own party, I would be happy to support a StatesRights/Jake ticket for Pres, but let me say that I really don't like people running for office for two different offices (esp. at the federal level) simultaneously.  I don't like that AFCJ is running for Pres. while being on the SC at the same time.  Quite frankly, if Lewis wasn't so left he was off the reservation, I might seriously consider 1st preferencing him because of this.

In America, I didn't like it when John Kerry didn't resign his seat in 2004 to run for Pres.  I didn't like it when Joe Lieberman ran for both his senate seat and VP in 2000.  I also think GWB should have left Gov. of Texas when he ran for President.

I would consider thinking about this if the decision is made to run for President just because some of us do take it seriously and not just me I hope.
