The CD lines seem nicely aligned as drawn to preclude Clinton winning any of them. One would think with 42% of the vote, she could sneak in to win at least one of them, but no!
Yes I noticed that too. Clinton has her strengths in almost all the CD's and there is going to be no wide discrepencies in the results. I think Obama CD-2 by a wider margin than I thought. I never thought a 20 point win was possible in Jackson.
Jackson County is home to Ashland, which voted 80% Kerry. It's home to Southern Oregon University--a very liberal school. Obama winning that county big was to be expected...
Medford is actualy the biggest town in the county and it actually used to be a neo-nazi stronghold back in the day. But today it seems to have voted for Obama. I just was not sure how the vote would go. I was certain about Ashland though, the Santa Cruz of Oregon.
The Neo-nazis in Oregon are registered Democrat? Didn't know this.
