And the special appointment legislation was never rejected.  It was simply put aside

That was the wrong way to not seat Burris.

Make your calendar; I agree.  Fill it by actually having an election.  There would have been minimal delay.

I agree with Feinstein.

(Now, that said, I'd support expulsion.)

Hooray for the Constitution and the rule of law!

I do not like what Blago did, but he did it according to law.  I would not, if offered had taken the post (and it's easy to say since I wasn't offered it), but that has been the only failing in Burris's honorable career.  Reid did the right thing.
