2008:

Social Democrat Chairperson SWE (SD-NY): 350, 53.4%
Libertarian Activist ElectionsGuy (L-WI): 188, 45.8%
Others: 0, 0.8%

A very polarizing election, but it ends with a clear winner. People voted largely on economic and foreign policy issues, as the two had agreements over most social/cultural issues. The nation wanted more economic security and intervention after the 2008 collapse, and they said no to laissez-faire economics clearly in a mini-blowout.
