Freedom Clothing. They are in my view the single best item of clothing ever invented. I hear they aren't too popular in the UK and basically associated exclusively with teenage hooligans, which is a real shame.

horrible, they make you look like a slob. and no there is no way to dress them up, sorry.
Never trust a person who wears nothing but fancy clothes or clothes that can be "dressed up".  People in suits are out to screw you or lie to you.  Preachers, bankers, lawyers, waiters, salesmen, people going to job interviews, church goers, politicos....all horrible people.

Since when do they only "dress up"?

More importantly, why does everyone in a suit have an interest in "screwing" people?

Nah he's right in general, people who wear suits usually tend to be out to screw you. But applying that to preachers and churchgoers, lol. They don't dress any differently than people at shows.

Only women should ever wear cardigans, and the other two should be worn as little as possible.

I didn't know a polo and cargo shorts was the usual attire for one of the shows you attend. Let alone any ceremonial vestments.

Funny my namesake comes from a shirt I bought at a show last night, and I plan on wearing it to church tomorrow:

What kind of shows do you go to where...

That painting is of priests. My church does not have priests.

No priests? So it's all deacons/bishops? Regardless...

No, we have PASTORS.

There have been several attempts to ban them over here, ftr.

The stupidity of that...there are no words.

No, they dress like people at shows. Aka normal people:

Incidentally to fit in with the topic the guy preaching and giving the sermon at the service I was just at was actually wearing a hoodie while he was preaching. So certainly more hoodies than suits there.

Huh. Can't say I fully understand it, but okay...

What's hard to understand? We have someone preaching, except instead of wearing ceremonial garments they're wearing jeans and a shirt and in this case a hoodie. Pretty simple really...

Supposedly lots of dumbs and handwringers in the UK believe that only "chavs" wear hoodies and the only reason someone would ever wear one is as a symbol of that subculture or to conceal themselves on a surveillance camera while doing something illegal.

Seriously though dead0man, what's with this that churchgoers and preachers wear suits? Because the ratio of hoodies to suits that I see at church is about equal to the male:female ratio of this forum.

Oh and look at these guys, do you think they wear suits much? (Yes, Christian band):
