Who the hell spends that much money for a pair of jeans? You can get the exact same thing at Target for $20.00

Reminds me of something. My mom still insists on buying me clothes, despite being 28, I'm guessing that once you've bought clothes for someone their entire life it's kind of hard to quit. So when I saw her last week she insisted on getting me more jeans since a lot of mine are getting worn and holey (this is true). So we went to some fancy store in the mall where she wanted to buy a lot of other things, and she got me some jeans on a buy one get one free deal...except they cost $44, so the overall cost was about the same as Target. Of course I wasn't paying so I had no reason to point this out.

Another thing she always did was insist on getting clothes and shoes for me and my brothers when we were visiting Minnesota because clothes are exempt from sales tax in Minnesota unlike North Dakota. What she obviously didn't take into account is that the savings, if any are negligible since the entire cost of living here is far more than in ND. I suppose if it was a department store in St. Cloud or Alexandria she'd have a point...
