By that logic, Tony Benn and Michael Foot weren't left wing.

Both are inane looks and I wouldn't vote for either if I was British, and in Foot's case the Social Democratic breakaway shows I'm not alone. Also the way he opened the door that deplorable and destructive woman is all the reason to regard him with ire.

Like maybe some unreformed Stalinist parties but they're hardly what most people today want in the left.
