Conservatives accuse me of being a fan of Castro all time, especially on this forum, despite me saying many repeated times that I do not like him. I don't know how hard it is to get through dazzleman's head, but let's see.

I would've no doubt supported the 26th of July Movement, but that opinion would've changed once Cuba became just like under Batista and Castro betrayed Che. Still I think it's still better than under Batista and that the US needs to quit with the embargo.

Possibly, but I already know the answer. Dipsh!ts like dazzleman don't get it though.

I largely agree with what opebo said. Castro is better than Batista, but Batista is long dead and no longer relavant. So judging Castro on his regime now, it's hardly positive. Still the US's attitude toward Cuba is rather ridiculous, and it's asinine of all the repressive regimes in the world to simply single this one out.
