Uh, suburbs usually went for Bush. If they didn't, they weren't 60% Kerry. I still want a list of town results for New York.
Depends on where you live. Suburbs here are Democratic.
There are affluent suburbs here that Kerry won 2-to-1 or more. He probably won the Seattle suburbs (excluding the exurbs) with over 60%, overall. Parts of suburban, rich Seattle where he won in excess of 8-to-1.
I'll choose Option 2, although crime isn't necessarily the most important part. Besides, 80% isn't all that incredibly impressive for an urban area. As long as I can get to urban areas easily, I'm happy with sleeping in a 60% suburban area.
