Weren't these the people that got into trouble for underpaying their staff a while ago?

Maybe, but moreover they're the people responsible for the thousands of fraudulent registrations in King and Pierce counties.

They have a fairly rich history of corruption.

To be fair, it was their minimum wage-level workers who are paid for every registration they fill.  But they certainly have too few checks and balances...it's quite nearly on the honors system, and they seem to like it that way.

Too many scandals surrounding ACORN.

But anyway...

Now the question is who that undecided North Dakota superdelegate is. Because Obama's running 7 of 8 there with one undecided.

Cantwell is an odd case.  She's endorsed Clinton officially, but she's made clear that - as a delegate - she will support the delegate leader (who will inevitably be Obama).  I'm not sure how you want to count that.

(I think Erc's round-up counts her for Obama.)

The day after he called them a terrorist organization?  All right, then.

Do you think he will?

Also, are there any other big name Democrats in Indiana or North Carolina who haven't endorsed? (big-name congressmen, former governors, former senators, national figures from those states, etc.)

Reps. Peter Visclosky, Joe Donnelly, Brad Ellsworth and Baron Hill in Indiana.

Reps. Bob Etheridge, Mike McIntyre, Brad Miller, Heath Shuler and five DNC members in North Carolina.

This is exactly the sort of thing that Obama really, really does not need right now.  And it keeps happening!

I haven't been convinced that this primary season has been all that bloodying to anyone's General Election chances, but any sign that the party establishment is not ready to flood to him could indicate that it will start gravitating that way pretty soon.

Joe Andrews may have convinced at least one person. DNC John Patrick (TX) endorses Obama.

John Olsen of Connecticut endorsed Clinton earlier today. I guess he's a DNC member (?)

Yes, DNC member and an AFL-CIO echo from Bill George's endorsement.

Does this have any significance whatsoever?

Today is more notable for an endorsement that isn't being made than for any that are.  Smiley

If you're talking about a certain former Senator whose daddy worked in a mill, I think it'd be too late for that endorsement to swing anything.  I mean, the primary's tomorrow.

Definitely, although something like that may push a few of those low-information rural whites that we keep hearing about out.  Not significantly, but any good news is good news.

I think it's almost universally tradition not to endorse the day of an election, though, so Obama may have dodged a small-calibre bullet.

Oh, sorry, I looked back and didn't see it here.  I did noticed it was announced then, but confirmed today.  Not that superdelegates ever deny the campaign's announcements.  Tongue

He hasn't announced it officially, but Rep. Brad Miller of North Carolina sure as heck sounds like he's endorsing Obama

The New York Times is incorrectly reporting today that Washington state DNC Sharon Mast has endorsed Clinton.  She has not.
