Jefferson is the more conservative of the two candidates by far. He voted for the anti-gay marriage amendment and CAFTA. Republicans will break for him heavily, that's one concern.

Jefferson aired commercials saying Carter supported same sex marriage and partial birth abortion and human cloning.

He voted for CAFTA because it would help some industries in New Orleans. Most of Louisiana's Delegation voted against it.

You've gotta be kidding me that these people are stupid enough to reelect someone who was taped accepting a $100,000 bribe.

NOLA is dead to me if they re-elect this bastard.

Re-elect Jefferson, let him get indicted and then the seat is vacated and someone better than Carter or Jefferson can get elected.
