Would be great if he could do so.

Would balance out the 8 years of total Obama-obstruction from the GOP.

That probably only applies to ambassadors and secretaries. I obviously watched too much House of Cards, when Frank Underwood nominated his wife to the UN after the Senate voted against her. But even if Obama could do it, it would only offend congress.
