Would you never vote for Social Democrats?

I've never voted for anything else other than SPD in all elections since I'm eligible to vote, starting in 2009. And I never missed an election since. Just one exception: City council in 2014, where 22 votes could be cast (the voting system is complicated). A friend of mine run is a CDU member and I awarded him three votes, the maximal number per candidate possible. In the 2016 mayoral election in my town, I voted for the independent challenger over the Free Voters incumbent. The challenger was backed, against the will of local party officials, by the local youth wing of our party, that I chaired at the time, but lost the election with a surprisingly close vote.
