It's better not to focus on individual polls, but rather the average. Throughout the entire year of 2014 on RCP, Obama never went under 41% or over 44%. Hopefully this is the start of a counter trend though.

Of course Americans see the light only after forcing themselves into at least 6 years of Republican Congressional dominance.

This poll was among all adults, which means only like 20% of them voted in 2014.
