I'm not saying they would be a majority of the population (or even close to it) but where in your opinion have you either experienced it or heard about it influencing the culture?

I've heard that the inland northern part of San Diego County for years was a hotbed of racist activity. It was the headquarters of Tom Metzger who actually won nomination for a congressional seat in that area at one point.

I've also heard the Spokane-Courdalene area (which I've been to) is a hotbed of what I call "white zionists". A lot of expatriates from areas like Southern California who want to create a "Northwest White Homeland" Cour D'Alene and the panhandle in general I've heard has a lot of "National Socialist" type organizations so to speak.
Yeah northern Idaho is a terrible place. I used to live not to far from the KKK headquarters in Rathdrum. The state national Guard actually came in, and raided one of their compounds.

Doesn't the fact that hotbeds of the far left are all attractive vacations spots abd hotbeds of the far right are hellholes everyone wants to avoid tell you something?

As for the question: Forsyth, GA is your answer.  I'm glad BRTD was able to point that one out a few years back.  Northern GA as a whole seems to be right wing cuckoo land.
It works both ways. The most liberal major city in America (Detroit) is a decaying, crime ridden hellhole. The most conservative (Provo) has almost no crime, and very low unemployment.

left wing =/= democratic
Detroit proper gave Kerry over 90% of the vote. So yes it is Democratic.

I bet Provo has a lot of crime that gets covered up. Kind of like Campbell County 20 years ago.
I have family that lives there. They all leave their doors unlocked at night, and feel completely safe walking around after dark. Is there any neighborhood like than in Detroit?

Oh also one major hotbed of the radical left is Waldron Washington. Not exactly somewhere you would want to live. No roads ,except for dirt, high poverty, no cars etc.
