Rand Paul is a libertarian when it comes to Big Business and the role of government (except on the enforcement of the will of economic elites) and an authoritarian on all else. Coulter is right this time, if perhaps for the wrong reasons. If he is the GOP nominee he will have some major contradictions that defeat him.

In view of the media that we have, politicians are finding that saying opposite things to different audiences increasingly difficult to get away with. 

This. Rand Paul is basically W and not W at the same time. They all are. For different reasons.

Yep, Rand only cares about Big Business and the economic elites. That's why he's attacked the Chamber of Commerce and wants to abolish the Export-Import Bank and audit the Fed.

Not to mention his authoritarian stands like pushing for sentencing reform and felon enfranchisement while opposing wars and dronings.
