Bicameral Legislature?

Actually my informal proposal would have the Governors replacing the Senators.  As for whether Governors have nothing to do, well its up to the Governor.  I've certainly shown that a Governor can be an active position.  It would be unlike the US system in that there would officials who have roles in both the governance of both levels of government.

I do not want to give Governors any more power so I am against your plan. Though I could say their could still be 10 senators if you had both the Governor and the Lt. Governor serve and anyway why do we need a bicameral legislature. Our unicameral one is fine and it has worked well.

The only way I can see that we can do this sort of thing now is have an upper house comprised of the Regional Governors while the lower house would be the same as the current Senate. This, though, gives way too much power to the Governors while decreasing the power of the elected legislators. I currently like the unicameral system that we have and someone would have to give me a good argument why it is not a good system for Atlasia.

Yes, because governors are not elected or anything.

Well they wouldn't be directly elected for that position. I thought you would be against people who were elected to serve one purpose doing another instead.
