Can O'Reilly continue to make money for Fox on the back of ads for gold coins, term life insurance, diabetes supplies (reimbursable by Medicare), scooters (reimbursable by Medicare), and off-brand dietary supplements? Probably, if not as much as justifies his current salary.
The cash flows and perception generated by those kinds of advertisers would be fine for The Blaze or talk radio, which mainstream advertisers avoid like the plague, but not for primetime on Fox.

O'Reilly is a prat, but i find it unnerving that his fate (like all media stars) is ultimately dependent on the whims of conglomerates.
Whose isn't?

NPR reports Tucker Carlson is taking is slot.
Tucker filling all the holes at Fox now in the absence of Ailes and O'Reilly. How fitting.

Given the type of shenanigans that go on at Fox, I'm not exactly sure how to interpret that statement.
I'm sure the leg girls at Fox are all thinking the same thing.

I'm going to apply for the job - I think I'm a good fit for the culture.

Was it really necessary to give Eric Bolling, of all people, his own gig?

Fox really is spreading the madness in a fair and balanced way.
He already hosts Cashin' In.
