Somehow I went through adolescence without having this talk with my father. I guess I was just to embrassed to ever bring it up, but I never really had any questions to begin with.
I don't see why anyone has "the talk" with sex ed in schools like it is now. Learning it from a teacher in a classroom setting is much less uncomfortable than learning it from someone you actually know would be.
I never had any real sex ed in school.
Luckily, my school is rich enough to be able to forgo the federal sex ed funding (which is for abstinence only
) and teach us real information. It doesn't quite go to the peak of inclusion (like no instructions on condom application or anything), but I suppose some things are too risque for the rich suburban taxpayers around here
