Just out of curiosity, what political impact did the first one have?  The whole point was to get Bush out of office.  Bush was re-elected.  So the movie seems to have failed at its purpose.  I suppose if you want to classify a few more Kerry votes as being 'political impact', it would count.  But just because Old Media loved it doesn't mean it had great political impact.
