This guy on Twitter is literally posting pictures of voter machine receipts before results are posted in the vote count:

https://twitter.com/conorsen

is that legal?

i got 10 open twitter feeds and no one is as nightmarish about ossoff than wasserman.

not saying that he is not correct, he is just kind of doing a rain dance all day, while more dry types state "too close to call".

Wrong. harry enten is saying the result is in line with expectations, and Nate COhn is saying it's going to be around 48% for Ossof.

Because georgia voting apparatuses are sh**t.

So it appears that people like Enten, Cohn, Wasserman, and Jacobs gave accepted that it will be a runoff.

Significant to note that among the GOP tonight in GA06, the more closely aligned a candidate was with Trump, the worse said candidate did.

This shouldn't be surprising. Didn't trump get crushed here by rubio?

This district is collectively telling trump to "stop changing our party!"

What are fulton county results so far ... what % does ossoff have in fulton?

He has 55% right now. Had 62% in EV but it dropped quickly.

Nate Cohn says Ossoff will end up with around 47.7 percent.

That's not completely out of line with polling, if you assume some undecideds went to ossof.

Yep.

Research shows that special elections are more in line with the most recent presidential vote than with the most recent house race.

I am beyond disappointed although unsurprised. It's astounding how we have an incompetent excuse for a president in the White House, and the Democrats can't get their act together. It's just loss after loss, and it's the regular citizens that suffer from it in the end. MT is their last chance to show that they can do something about it.

Good night guys. Sorry for my erratic posting earlier in the thread. I had just finished with a joint and was feeling it.

Tonight was exciting and a nailbiter.

2017 is off to a enthralling start, politically!

Peace out!!

"Making Metro Atlantaa the Silicon Valley of the South"

ewww he's lost my vote.

Silicon valley- you mean the place where companies rake in 10%+ profit margins and underpay tech workers?

Shouldn't berniebots NOT like some of the left's glorification of the tech sector?

He is at 48.3%, with 88% of the polls reporting.
He wont get to 50%, but he can, and might get to somewhere between 49-50%

He is right at 48% with 100% reporting.

The breakdown is apparently:
Cobb....10,058 18.3%
DeKalb.13,818 25.1%
Fulton...31,125 56.6%
That is big time trouble for Handel is Dekalb runs far ahead of Cobb

Part of it is that in the first round, dekalb had like one early vote location.

I know this board doesn't want to hear this, but the term "living wage" really doesn't have a meaning. Every individual has a different standard for what it means to "live".

Companies aren't obliged to pay wages that result in a certain standard of living, they are obliged to pay wages that the market will bear.

Why stop at living wage? I support a prosperity wage.

By the way, Ossof's statement tonight that he supports a return to 50s era tax rates on the wealthy isn't going to play well in nevertrump surburbs.

I find it somewhat odd that such a wealthy district like this has such an unfavorable view of the health act.

Polls a few years ago found the strongest opposition to the aca in suburban districts.

Maybe this suburb isn't as fiscally conservative as it first appeared

How dumb does the vermont bum look for not embracing ossof's campaign?

Sorry bernard, but your brand of radical leftwing loonyism has come up empty everywhere, while Ossof's moderate economic, pro-business platform that embraces profits and innovation is about to win.
