Money quote from that article I posted: "Mark Pryor followed his dad into politics. I followed my dad into the infantry." I guess he'll take shots at Bubba too when the time comes.

Should have stayed there. We don't need their kind meddling in our politics.
So you're saying Jack Reed, John Kerry, and Max Cleland shouldn't have gotten involved in politics?

Yup. Down with the militarists. We got enough of 'em among the civvies. No need for more in politics.

Dwight Eisenhower?
I am all for service members serving in political office, just not ones that are politically idiots.

I've watched this ad about four times, and I can't decide if it's good or not. Pryor is obviously a terrible "actor," but the message is good? I don't know.

Cotton's pollster criticizes the Marist poll for oversampling Democrats. Meanwhile, his internal poll has party registration evenly divided (lol).

Doesn't it make sense that they oversample Democrats because there are significantly more registered Democrats in Arkansas than Republicans?

Beebe is already 67, I can see a challenge to Boozeman by him at less than a 50% chance of happening. If Beebe doesn't run, who else would?

How the hell is John Walsh not considered the most vulnerable senator??

[Edit]: He also called Blank-Stare Lincoln "personable..."

Right to Life endorses Cotton.

Brummett says Talk Business poll will be out this week. I'm guessing a small Pryor lead.

I thought Pryor was pro-life??

Yikes: a Cotton staffer, when talking to the Grauniad, said “I don’t see that [he's unapproachable and rigid]. Maybe he’s a little on a different intellectual level. But I don’t see he’s unapproachable.” Cleanup in Aisle 5. Sounds like Biden's '88 IQ exchange, and the exact sort of thing that those positive ads are trying to defuse.

Sounds to me like the opposite of the Renee Elmers (R-NC) thing where she said men need to tone down the intellect when talking to women. This won't make much of a difference, especially since it was buried in the article, but someone is definitely fired.

Good news for Pryor/Ross:

For reference, PPP did a poll in April which had support for minimum wage increase at 56%, 36% oppose. Other polls from local Arkansas news outlets has support floating between 55 and 65.
