I'm expecting there to be a division between the interventionist McCain types and isolationist Paul types in the primaries.

I wasn't using the term in a derogatory manner. But he is an isolationist.
No he isn't. Calling a non-interventionist an isolationist is as absurd as calling a liberal a communist.

It may affect the Democratic nominee, but Kerry won the nomination in '04 and he voted for the authorization in 2002.
And that was a big part of the reason he lost.
