IIRC the meth cook who gets killed is a Ron Paul supporter, I cannot remember his name.

Gale is the cook Jesse kills, or perhaps you mean Walter White, the main character...

Gale is the name.  When he is first introduced he mentions that he is a libertarian and after he is dead his cookbook is searched and there is a Ron Paul '08 sticker on one of the pages.
