He's 67.  I don't think that's quite "too old" to return to office in the near future. 

It is though. I can't see him running for Governor, and there is unlikely to be any open seats for Congress soon (not that he wants to be in Congress anyway). His main option is running for President, and he'll be 72 in 2020, and is a has been. He almost seems conservative compared to the current wing of progressive democrats.

I also agree with Edwin Edwards.
