I thought Pawlenty was popular in Minnesota?
The sample size is 750 out of a state with a population of over 5 million, so there is a lot of room for error.

Ten thousand, ten million, at n=750, it doesn't really matter much.

750 isn't enough for Texas -- or California if it is close.

Is this related to the "approval rating +6" rule?

I went to an amusement park and sat next to Pence on a roller coaster.  I'm also romantically involved with his sister.  He's going to endorse Daniels (who I collided with on bumper cars.  He slammed me because I'm screwing his daughter too   But he told me he's running.)

I don't know if this is true (you're being sarcastic, aren't you?), but it seems very unlikely.

This topic gets about 30% better if you imagine Winfield wearing a monocle.

Even for pbrower, this is such a bizarrely random non sequitur to be dropping into a thread on Sarah Palin:

...The word "death" is obviously one of the starkest words in the English language, and as such it should be used either literally and unambiguously -- or, if figuratively, very carefully, as in "the death of German democracy in 1933", "the death of Latin speech in North Africa", "Sudden death overtime", or "death spiral".  "Death panels remind me of a Twilight Zone episode in which a totalitarian state determines that people who pose trouble to the regime are judged 'obsolete' and then executed.

Which also brings to mind this post:

I can't tell if you're somehow making a grossly incoherent reference to the Tucson shootings or aptly describing this thread.

Pbrower does it again but this one really has me scratching my head. Talking about Santorum...

He's an Italian-American, so he ought to have some affinities to Latin-American voters. (Uh, no, Mexican-Americans, Cuban-Americans, and Puerto Ricans don't generally consider themselves to have strong affinities to Italy).

So he totally made up this idea that people think Santorum being an Italian - American means he has some connection to Latinos and then goes on to state that that's obviously not true. It has gotten pretty bad for this guy that he knows has to make up ridiculous points to discredit in order to appear intelligent.

Keep in mind, this is the same guy who thinks Santorum will do best in Northeastern primaries because he's from the Northeast.

Oh, and Thune can't run, because there's no major air hub in South Dakota, and so his staff would have to change planes too many times when they're shipping in the sound system for an appearance in South Carolina:
