After two big misses in a row (in opposite directions), are they really of much value anymore?

Compared to what?  Using a mathematical formula based on state fundamentals or something?

Let me put it this way…..if there had been *zero* polls taken in this cycle, would pundits have done a better or worse job of predicting who would win each Senate race than they did IRL?
