If McCain simply picks Duncan Hunter as his running mate, he can probably make up at least 60 or 65 points of that gap.

In a recent survey of my house, the following results were found:

McCain 100%
Obama     0%

Favorables:
McCain 80% Approve/20% neutral
Obama 20% favorable/80% disapprove

Bush approval: 80%

McCain is a lock to win your house's 0.00001 electoral votes.
