Is that a common problem in American state legislatures? Seems ... very poor for state democracy.

If they want to run ads comparing Edwards to Obama, then why isn't the DNC running ads screaming from the hilltops that David Vitter is a John with a diaper fetish who told a hooker he knocked up to have an abortion?

Because they want to face him in the runoff.

Glad he wasn't hurt, so we can freely make jokes without being in bad taste.

Wasn't he already in a car crash? Namely his campaign?

Doesnt Louisiana have a freakishly large prison population? What do the candidates think about the criminal justice reform that is in vogue right now?

I don't know if anybody noticed, but apparently disgraced ex-rep Vance McAllister tried to make a comeback against incumbent senator Walsworth and epically failed.

On the bright side if Vitter doesn't get the big boy job, I'm sure he could use the time to get potty-trained.

If Vitter does win/rig (and yes, the latter is possible) the election, a bunch of atlas users will likely go into years of utter depression.

More pertinently the polling industry would be so discredited we would close down much of the polling boards and a lot of Atlas people would have more free time.
