We laugh, but demographic targeting may soon create political campaigns targeted towards furries. Watch out for political analysts tracking the swing in the "Fur Vote", candidates making pledges promising cuts in the sales tax of animal costumes and campaign literature adorned with erotic Sonic the Hedgehog characters. This is your future America. One day President Shadow_The_Wolf_272 will sign the oath dressed as a fox, with his VP his own alternative personality.

It just seems so ... weird. Why target furries? Why get yourself arrested on an incredibly serious charge (conspiracy to commit mass murder?), because you dislike someone's fetish? I mean, I understand why somebody is motivated to do terrristic acts because of religion or whatever. But this is just plain bizarre.

I don't care what they get up to. Dressing up in a silly costume because you think you have a connection to an animal is less bonkers than dressing up in a silly costume because you think you have a connection to god.

Huh? You'll often be paid and even possibly get a house out of doing that latter. In fact, if you pick the right Church and you get lucky, you might even wind up in the House of Lords. Strikes me as pretty good deal.

People with free houses can be bonkers too, my friend. Also I'd just like to clarify for Mr. CrabCKe that it's really not a fetish (for most of us).

Sorry, I genuinely was misinformed, wasn't trying to making fun of you or anything.

Yeah seeing as we're posting in a forum dedicated to election trivia, we really have no grounds to be criticising other people's hobbies. I mean, I find the idea of dressing as a fox pretty weird, but I expect most furries would probably find the idea of staying up to check the results of a by-election in a country they don't live in pretty weird.
