NOTE: I despise Trump with a passion, but I think that he could do well with AA.

I was watching CNN, a couple of days ago, and they were talking about how Trump would do very well (for a Republican) with African-American voters.

Here's why:
1. Obama is not running, so this will obviously help Trump.
2. Trump is strongly pro-affirmative action. He thinks that AA is a great thing, and he called Scalia's anti-affirmative action comments racist and offensive.
3. Polls have shown that African-Americans hate free-trade the most. They're the most protectionist group. Hillary has a history of supporting free trade, while Trump has been protectionist all his life. Trump strongly opposes TPP. This will help him a lot with working-class blacks.

I'll list more reasons shortly.

4. Hillary is running. You guys have to remember that Hillary invented birther-ism. As you all know, she ran a very racist campaign against Obama, and Trump could use this to his advantage.
5. African-Americans are not pro-immigration. According to most polls, only a slim majority of blacks are pro-immigration reform, and there is a very significant portion of blacks who are anti-immigration. Asians and Hispanics are overwhelmingly pro-immigration on the other hand. Whites have not been the only ones who've suffered from immigrants taking their jobs, blacks have suffered too. Trump could appeal to a lot of working-class, blue-collar blacks.

Which is why black people are doing everything they can to stop her from winning the primary.

Sanders hasn't attacked Hillary over her 2008 campaign. Trump probably will.

I think that Trump would get around 12% of the black vote. You guys have to remember that Bush got 11% of the black vote against Kerry, and Trump is a much better fit for black voters because of the reasons I listed.

Because Trump was never a birther.

Also, source on Clinton "inventing birtherism"?

Good point Tongue. Sorry about that.

Ignore that part and read my other reasons why Trump could do well with African-Americans. They're good and realistic reasons.

Trump tweets doctored photo ripped off WCPO.com

Trump has been reduced to stealing pictures of African-American families and pretending they support him. And it's only early June. He's going to be lucky to get half of Romney's numbers with African-Americans.

lol no

I despise Trump, but he is not going to do worse than Romney with black voters. Trump is a bad fit for black voters, but Romney was an awful one. I predict that Trump will get around 9% of the black vote (compared to Romney's 6%). Romney's 6% is Trump's floor with African-Americans.
