You know, it's kind of hard to call this guy an aberration and "just a random crazy that managed to slip through" when his own conference elected him as speaker.
The disconnect between the Atlas Forum and who constitutes the Republican party is mind boggling. I get that there is a Moderate Hero tendency to presume both parties must be, on average, fairly reasonable, but we have threads like this one almost every day. There is something very wrong with Republicans. It doesn't help the nation to pretend like it isn't so.
