Yes, Climate has been changing pretty regularly throughout time, and those that say that the present climate change is 100% human-caused are idiotic. But to say that Greenland was named Greenland because "oh, it has a bunch of grass! yahoo!" is just silly.
As long as this was a "check to make sure they're not part of any terrorist group, but otherwise treat them the same" sort of thing, rather than a "pursue every possible avenue to keep them out of the country because Arabs suck!" sort of thing, I don't really see a problem here.
And no, Kirk is not some "insane radical".
