How are the percentages calculated, I agree with Bernie sanders on one isssue and it says 52% ,

Agreement %: (# of issues you agree on)/(total)
Agreement on issues: agree with candidate X on a majority of subtopics in that issue

So you likely agreed with Sanders a few times on each of the different areas - not enough to say that you agreed with him on that issue, but enough to cumulatively add up to 52%. And everything's weighted when determining that total agreement percentage as well, so if you agree with him on some of those important issues, I think that those are counted more.

I only agree with him on one out of like more then 20 poll questions so shouldnt it be less then 5%

here: http://www.isidewith.com/elections/2016-presidential/952620317

It uses 2 factors to determine the result:

How close are you to the candidate on each question? (Same, similar, partially similar, barely similar, not similar) You can click on the compare answers button for Sanders to see this.

The importance of each question to you. You should have set this during the survey, if you didn't for some/all questions it is set to somewhat by default as needed.

Also, note that if you used ' add my own stance' for any question, then that question does not affect your results.

I still don't understand how I side with an avowed socialist 74% of the time, but whatever.

Maybe you like income redistribution too.

I support corporate tax reform (lower to about 28% while eliminating most loopholes) and raising payroll taxes on the rich, if that counts.
