Today marks the beginning of the end of the July "primary offseason". No big list today, just one state - GA - and one congressional race - the 3rd district runoff.

Polls close at 7 Eastern. Results will be here: http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/files/elections/2016/by_state/GA_Page_0726.html?SITE=AP&SECTION=POLITICS

Thanks for adding the links and other contested races . I only saw the one candidate listed in Wikipedia for those races. Which races do you see as most interesting?

The best way to know if a race is contested is to look at the raw AP data. I prefer to use politico/NYT over that for getting actual results as it is faster, but for knowing which races are contested days or weeks ahead of time, it's the best available. For instance, the AP page for Tennessee this Thursday is here: http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/files/elections/2016/by_state/TN_Page_0804.html?SITE=AP&SECTION=POLITICS

I expect KS-1 (Huelskamp vs. Marshall) to be competitive. WA-7 is the next test for Bernie's revolution (He has endorsed Jayapal). It will be mildly interesting to see who gets the 2nd slot against Patty Murray, although she's definitely NOT going to lose in November, even in a Trumpslide. And Missouri R Governor is of course competitive.

I'm sure there's other points of interest, but I don't know where they are.

The "primary offseason" ends in 31 minutes, with the closing of all polls in Missouri and some polls in Kansas and Michigan. The remaining polls in Kansas and Michigan will close an hour later than that, the polls in Washington close three hours later than that.

Why doesn't Politico show results for dos officer races? NYT doesn't have these races on their page, is there another site that shows those races? (Lt. Gov, SoS, AG, etc.)
