I'm sure that Perdue will win, but aside from that, Perdue is 64 years old. This means that he'll be 70 years old if he runs for President in 2020, 74 in 2024, and 78 in 2028. All of these are older than Ronald Reagan and Hillary Clinton on their respective election days (both were/will be 69). He could foreseeably serve as Senate Minority/Majority Leader if he becomes popular enough in Georgia and the GOP leadership.
