Mulan and Pocahontas are Disney princesses.
How?  Mulan's father was not the emperor, and although she may have shown some interest in the captain, he was not the emperor's son.  As for Pocahontas, her father may have been a chief, but he was not "royalty" except by European standards.  I get the feeling that people genericize "Disney princess" to mean any Disney heroine or female character.

you've obviously never watched any disney movies in your life. if you are female and in a disney movie, you are automatically a disney princess.
