It's entirely likely that the next President, if a two-termer, will oversee the retirement/death of Ginsburg, Scalia, Kennedy and Breyer. If that President is a Democrat, what are the chances that Republicans just straight up don't let them confirm a replacement at least for Scalia and Kennedy?

And if they don't control the Senate? There's not really precedent for a Senate controlled by one party stopping all of a President's nominees for an open SCOTUS seat, is there?
