Pelosi wants Chet Edwards as veep

There was already a thread about this a couple weeks ago when Pelosi said the same thing.

Chet's not serious, I don't know what Pelosi is doing.  Maybe she lost a bet with him or owes him a favor.  She's just boosting his future political career by making his name more well known and respected.

Obama/Edwards would be really confusing and there's 100% no way that Obama could select any congressman since it would boost the "inexperience" charge that will hit harder in autumn.  People won't respect a congressman with a handful of terms on the flipside of an Obama ticket.

Edwards has been a Rep. since 1991, so "a handful of terms" wouldn't stick too well.

My bad, for some reason I thought it was in the 2000's.  Good call.  Still, I don't think a Congressman would be suitable for Obama's VP.
