So now we can't win the NE without liberal Republicans? Even moderates aren't good enough? Wow.

House delegation of New England:
22 Democrats
0 Republicans

Throw in New York and you get:
48 Democrats
3 Republicans

I know, I know. Every election cycle will be like 2006 and 2008.

funny enough, every House election cycle generally protects incumbents, so yes, in a way.

waves happen though, but they have signals

And the GOP massively rejected Bush's overtures to the group.

But does the majority stand up to the idea of them being spokesmen for the party?

Kucinich doesn't make the daily news, even if he may be crazy.  Bachmann does.

Roll Eyes

Obviously the face of at least 51% of Republicans.

It's not an accurate face, but "faces" are never accurate.  This sort of publicly accessible vitriol is substantially less than ideal for the GOP to brand itself in a way that the majority finds appealing.

your party looks off the deep end with the Limbaughs and Bachmanns wanting the stage.  .

Roll Eyes

And they're not the majority.

Then why does virtually every Republican who says something critical about Rush have to make the Rush Limbaugh apology tour??

Not Colin Powell.

Right and every side has it's nutcases.

I 100% agree.  Yet the Democrats are FAR more adept at sister souljah'ing them.  Which is my point.

What are we arguing about here? Is it as to whether or not  the "nutters" in the GOP have more influence in their party, than Dem nutters have in theirs? I guess part of the problem is that folks may not agree as to who is a nutter, and who isn't.

Let's use the American people's opinion as a base.  Dennis "I See UFOs" Kucinich, and Michele "Insert Crazyassbackwards Statement Here" Bachmann probably both fit into the category.  Guess which one Politico's Glenn Thrush declared that God must have put on this Earth to reduce the pain of slow news days?
