I guess when someone believes a such absurdity like about North Korea, you avoid quoting him if you want to demonstrate something?

Yes, but in this case I agree with every word he wrote and think that he's absolutely correct. It would be ad hominem to try to dismiss his argument because of unrelated statements that he's made in the past!
