hopefully people don't vote for something that will help them and almost everyone else

Like massive increases in prices  , laying off people will help people

That isn't how economics work.

Read an economic text book for once , or take an economics class in college

Amazing that even a anarchocommunist (or whatever, you call yourself, don't bother correcting me) understands economics better than the right wing in this country. Really pathetic state of affairs we've reached.

I've previously stated support for $12 (with a slightly reduced 'teen' one), but it's not as if this is outright absurd for a typical city, which Torie notes this is not necessarily.

I support a 11 dollar wage with it tied to inflation ,  but if you really don't understand how 15 dollar wages will increase prices or cause people to lose their jobs you don't know economics

And I am sure you learned what happens when the price floor is greater then the equilibrium

Wow, a single concept taken in a vacuum with acknowledging what happens to consumption and demand for products, or anything else for that matter, as a result of this change. What a novel approach! How did all the economists miss it?!

Demand will increase but not enough to make up for that much of an increase in the minimum wage, unless you resort to increase prices or decreasing the work force or hours
