There was a Time Person of the Century. Einstein won out over Hitler.
Hitler over FDR what a joke , FDR clearly had more impact on the 20th century
One would really like to think so, wouldn't one?
To elaborate on what I meant by this: The outsize cultural and humanitarian contribution of European Jewry is one of the central facts and key saving graces of European if not world history, and Hitler's sh**t-stained mark on history starts with destroying that, continues with igniting the war that ended the 'Great Powers' way of doing things for good and inaugurated the current era of international politics for better or for worse, and ends with his symbolic stature as the primary avatar of the role of ideology in twentieth-century conflict.
I think FDR was more influential, since it was under his presidency where America replaced Western Europe as the main World Power and it was under FDR america economy became an economic and military superpower while Europe never was able to rebuild their pre Depression strength in either.
