Say for this, the leaders of all the parties stay the same as OTL and the years elections happen stay the same as OTL as well

Why would you be a straight Torie voter in the UK but here you would be a Democrat till the late 90s-early 00s. Democrats in the 50s and 60s were  similar to the Labour Party even though they werent as far too the left while the Republicans were pretty similar to the Tories at the time just like they were in the 80s.
