In South Carolina, shabbat ends at 6:46 PM. Who came up with the idea that voting on Saturday until 7 PM is acceptable? Not that there are many Orthodox Jews in South Carolina afaik, but this still disenfranchises them.

They could have early voted.

Also, what's up with this... I could have sworn there were several other dropped candidates on the Republican side...

https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=229608.0

Yeah, there was like 14 people who were still on the ballot... did they just remove those candidates from the ballots before they were printed (no mention of doing something like this on the P2016 website)?

Since everyone just suspended their campaigns instead of fully ending them, they stay on whatever ballots they filed  to be on.

So why are they not included on CNN, the State Election Commission, or the AP link? I mean, CNN is understandable, but for New Hampshire, AP included every candidate, even the ones that dropped out.

Yeah, I want an answer to this.

I think it's because they're no longer running, but AP has all the candidates that were on the ballot, but then again it doesn't make sense.

In Iowa didn't Trump only get 11% of the late deciders? If so that doesn't bode well...

Should be noted that while terrorism is the #1 issue for voters in this exit poll, it was only the #3 issue in both Iowa and NH.

Trump came in 3rd with those voters who say terrorism was the most important issue in Iowa, let's see how he does in SC with them

Is it appearing that way at the moment? What tells you that he is so clearly winning?

He has a double digit lead going into today, so it seems plausible to call the state for him the moment polls close.

Polls close at 4 PT/7ET, I would expect results to probably to start to  trickle in 15-20 minutes after.

So in a hour?

More or less.

Chuck Todd just said SC is gonna make it a "fun night." I assume this means it's not a Trump romp. The Rubio inevitability is approaching.

Do they already have the demographic breakdowns for the race?

Guys, remember what just happened with Nevada with the exit polls?  Lets take a deep breath before leaping to conclusions.

Exit polls for primaries tend to be more accurate than entrance polls for caucuses.
