I fully support Texas leaving the Union.

You realize your state is in a huge budget crisis and will fall apart completely in the event of a depression. My state, full of mindless drunk jesus loving hicks though it is, is best positioned by far to handle the current crisis.

In fact, if we did separate from the Union, I have no doubt we'd become massively more prosperous then we are now. The President of the RoT need only say "Dear everyone, Texas corporate tax is now 10% (5% whatever) and the mass taxodus from the US would begin.

A silly notion of course, but enough of your stupid posturing about how you despise the south, please.

I dislike it. I don't really think about it enough to hate it.

Not to mention you've never visited to know the reality of the situation (no your road trip thru rural Appalachia and the Carolinas to get to DisneyWorld when you were 11 does not count)

Try coming to Austin Texas and see what you think, there are backwater people in every state. Just because Miss. and Louisiana are unpleasant, doesn't mean you can blanket everyone.
