Why is Dkrolga, a known right-winger, running under the Labor Party banner and receiving party endorsement?

I am not a known right-winger. I am a moderate who was pushed out of the right wing parties. Labor is a big tent party and benefits from having a wide spectrum of supporters.

Quite true. We accept everyone that wants to fight for working families for Atlasia. DKrol has had a tremendous record of doing it, and we are glad to have him in our party.

You want to be in a "sustainable" socialist Party, that is fine, but don't lie about us to justify it.

Listen, I wasn't here beforehand and I don't know the extent of DKrol's past. But I do know the Labor Party, it has been one I have been in for over a year now and has accepted me, progressive to the core me.

And so I take offense when you call me and my colleagues unsustainable fringe socialists. We are a diverse group of many people with many backgrounds that seek common goals of inclusion, love, and dignity for all men and women.

So lets discuss our unsustainable socialist party, I'd enjoy to. Maybe even after we continue the peace and prosperity from the Labor party for another term in the White House.

Good advice, you should listen to your chairman NeverAgain! Tongue

My apologies if it was a joke, I didn't see it that way, you put the "sustainable" in quotations which imply sarcasm, but nonetheless I give you the benefit of the doubt. Personally, I destain when people call those, like myself (even in my own party) socialists. I am not a socialist, I am a moderate progressive liberal who wants working families to get ahead in our nation.

Your rant on DKrol was a little strange to me, and I will say I can see it that you feel your party was not accurately explained by him and I understand that, that is your right. But you say that your party is headed by "a moderate conservative, a libertarian and a moderate", which implies that your party is a moderate party as that comment would assume. But you and your party are not running moderate campaigns which frighten me and is what frightens me about today's GOP.

Labor is a party like no other. We have a diverse group of listeners and thinkers, and while we can get rowdy we are always able to work out our differences and come to a peaceful and well thought through solution. Now I'm not saying that the Federalists don't do this, and I'm not saying Labor does this all the time, but I think no party could have produced the magnitude and the strength that we have built for the Atlasian people.

Nev, you've given two fourth preferences.

Everyone is so good it's hard to value one over another.

Okay, here's my two cents:

The issue here IS NOT how AZ voted, even though it is shocking, saddening and ironic that he would vote for a guy he attempted to banish from this party. We are a party of many ideas and backgrounds, and I do not expect any of us to all agree on one candidate. This is about the basic trust between what I consider to be our Labor family.

There are already multiple examples of statements made by AZ, against many of our party (including myself), even supposed coup attempts, defamation of character, upon the multitudes of other things that are just, to put it in simple terms "not nice". And these range from small to large, annoying to terrifying, upsetting to depressing, what have you. But the fundamental question we're debating here is, how far is too far, and if this doesn't - what does qualify someone for being kicked out of a party.

First off, why I think this has hit a nerve for those that have supported a vote against Mr. AZ, is the real lack of respect many have for those that try to get them elected. AZ has run multiple times for Congress, and many have spent hours of their lives attempting to get him elected, because we are a family and we work for the benefit of each other. And I am again, not saying, that we all have to agree or because of those person's efforts, do their bidding. No. It's just basic respect, like not backstabbing those individuals, or purposefully doing harm to them. Mr. AZ has broken this basic bond of respect.

But I think this underscores a bigger issue than just AZ, or any individual. Where does anyone draw the line. If consistently voting against (and leaving) a party, being pretty much beholden to the opposition, ignoring inquires in basic attempts at communication from other members of the party, and lying about the rationale. Like, I really do not think we'd have had a problem had AZ said to me or somebody, "Hey I am planning on voting for X Federalist (non-Laborite), thoughts?" Or something along those lines. Of course, the response would be of the "here's why not or why this (Labor) candidate". But at least there is discussion, and attempts at respect on all sides.

Currently, if it does come to a vote, I'll vote against just because of the slight glimmering hope that AZ comes to his senses and realizes the seeming manipulation of himself by those that seek Labor's pain. And due to my disinterest with setting precedent by shutting people out of the party (if we couldn't even get Santander out, I just don't want to start) But you can best bet, that if he stays in the party, and continues this path -  he can say goodbye to any chance at being elected with it's endorsement or members.

He already left the party Tongue

Wrote it up on my phone hours ago, and was clearing out things. I am always late to the party. My phone's a Samsung so before it blew up in flames, I was posting all my lunch posts.
