The MN Star Tribune endorses Trump (after endorsing Gore, Kerry and Obama twice):

Not an editorial board endorsement.

Comment sections in local papers are almost always dumpster fires filled with right-wingers threatening to cancel their subscriptions.

"...raindrops keep falling...."

Chicago Sun Times Endorses Clinton:
Editorial: Vote for Clinton and avert a train wreck

http://chicago.suntimes.com/opinion/editorial-vote-for-clinton-and-avert-a-train-wreck/

Fun facts: In 2012 Sun Times announced that they will no longer endorse candidates - it took Trump to change that decision!

Not exactly. They also endorsed Bruce Rauner in 2014, so they'd already broken that pledge.
They probably meant they wouldn't endorse in the Presidential contest.

Reading the comments for some of those small town red state papers are something.
The only people with the time to comment in local newspaper comment sections are retired white Republicans who hate Democrats more than anything else in the world.
