He was also a stark free trader and a conservative Dem. He is more conservative than Hilary. But the economy was good under Clinton when he cut capital gains, not tax rates, as Reagan and Dubya did, lead us into Great Recessions.

What are you talking about? Tax cuts did not create the early 80s recession, 1990 recession. 2001 recession or 2008 recession.


They were a huge cause of high deficits but to say that they caused recessions doesn't make sense.
